Uff hace más de una semana que no he escrito en el
blog…lo siento, lo siento, lo siento! Tuve una semana bastante ocupada, entre
el máster que estoy cursando y un curso online que también estoy haciendo, he tenido
mucho trabajo! Pero aquí estoy!
Y como prometido, ahora que al fin ha salido el
sol: las top 10 tendencias de primavera/verano 2014. Hay
muchas tendencias esta temporada, pero estas 10 son para mí las que más triunfarán
y las que más veremos por las calles.
Colores pasteles
Esta es de lejos mi tendencia favorita y ya la he
adoptado. Esta temporada se pueden llevar en total look sin parecer un merengue
gigante! Se extiende hasta los accesorios, como bolsos y zapatos.
Crop Tops
Los crop tops llegaron el verano pasado, pero tímidamente.
Este año vuelven más fuertes que nunca. Se llevan con una falda o un pantalón de
talle alto, así sólo se muestra una franja de piel y el ombligo no se ve. La
ventaja es que no se necesita tener un abdomen super plano para usarlos.
Flores
Esta es otra tendencia que ya estaba presente el año
pasado, pero se ha convertido en todo un clásico de temporada. Se lleva en
pantalones, shorts, blusas, etc. Se puede llevar en total look si todas las
prendas tienen el mismo estampado. Yo recomendaría no mezclar estampados
diferentes.
Faldas Evasé
La silueta estrella del New Look de Christian Dior está
de vuelta. Se puede llevar por encima o por debajo de las rodillas. Para contrarrestar
el efecto aniñado se puede combinar con una chaqueta estilo biker de cuero o
botines biker.
Estampado artístico
Las pinceladas y retratos artísticos fueron
las estrellas de las pasarelas de Céline y Prada. Aunque a mí no acaba de
convencerme, esta tendencia pisa fuerte esta temporada. Estas prendas se
combinan con prendas sencillas y básicas, para no quitarles protagonismo.
Prendas deportiva
La ropa deportiva llegó a las pasarelas de otoño/invierno
2013, pero su éxito la ha convertido en un básico de primavera/verano 2014. Las
reinas son las zapatillas deportivas, que se llevan con todo, incluso con
vestidos.
Faldas plisadas
Las faldas plisadas llegaron para quedarse. Se
llevan en todos los largos, pero el que triunfa es el largo midi, justo por
debajo de la rodilla.
Total look blanco
El blanco siempre ha sido el color del verano, pero
esta temporada se lleva en total look, accesorios incluidos. Una gran manera de
permanecer fresca todo el verano!
Transparencias
La sudadera con franjas transparentes fue la
estrella de la colección primavera/verano de Alexander Wang. Se llevan
franjas/zonas transparentes estratégicamente localizadas para enseñar un
poquito más sin enseñarlo todo.
Encaje
El encaje ha sido el protagonista de la pasarela de
Dolce & Gabbana, que se inspiraron del arte barroco y las imágenes religiosas
para sus dos últimas colecciones. Este tejido se puede llevar en cualquier
prenda y en diferentes colores, jugando con las transparencias.
Otras tendencias para esta temporada serán las
faldas y vestidos de largo midi, los colores chillones, las alpargatas, las
sandalias tipo Birkenstock y las prendas con logos y mensajes.

course I’m following, I’ve had a lot of work! But here I am!
As
promised, now that the sun has finally decided to come out: the top 10 trends
for this spring/summer 2014 season. There are a lot of trends going on this
season, but these are the 10 I think will have more success and that we will
see everywhere on the streets.
Pastels
This is by far my favorite trend for this season and I have already adopted it! Pastels can be worn in a total look this season without looking like a giant meringue! It goes all the way to accessories, like shoes and purses.

Crop Tops
Crop tops
arrived last summer, but where shyly adopted. This year they’re back stronger
than ever. They’re paired with a high waist skirt o pants, so you only show a small
line of skin and the belly button is hidden. The great advantage is that you
don’t need to have a super flat stomach to rock a crop top!
Flower Print
This is
another trend that was already here last year, and it has become a classic for
spring/summer. Flowers are on pants, skirts, blouses, etc. You can wear them on a
total look, bu only if clothes have the same pattern. I would recommend not to
mix different patterns.
Evasé Skirts
Christian
Dior’s New Look star silhouette is back. You can wear it above or below the
knees. To avoid looking childish, pair it with a leather biker jacket or biker
boots.
Arty Prints
Brush
strokes and portraits were the stars on Céline’s and Prada’s runways. Even
though it’s not really my favorite trend, it is definitely big this season. Pair
this print with simple and basic colors to make it stand out.
Sporty
Clothes
Sporty
Clothes rocked Fall/Winter 2013 runways but their success has turned them into
a basic for spring/summer 2014. Sneakers are the King and they are worn with
everything, even dresses.
Pleated
Skirts
Pleated
skirts are here to stay. They are worn in any length but midi length is the
best, just below the knee.
Total White
Look
White has
always been a color for summer but this season it is worn in total look,
accessories included. A great way to stay fresh all summer!
Transparency
Alexander
Wang’s sheer striped sweater was the star of his spring/summer collection. Wear
strategically placed sheer stripes to show a Little bit without showing everything.
Lace
Lace has
been a basic in Dolce & Gabbana’s last two runways, which were inspired
from baroque art and religious images. This fabric can be worn on any piece of
clothes and in different colors.
Other big
trends this season will be midi skirts and dresses, flashy colors, espadrilles,
Birkenstock sandals and messages and logos everywhere.
